Round 1, HUNGARY, Hungaroring

There was to be no hat trick for Alexandre Bueno and Roldan Ricciardo at McLaren in Hungary, as their pole position ended in retirement. The sister car driven by Linvoy Nonda and Rodrigo Rossi set fastest lap, but they too coasted to a halt.

This made sure that a glorious victory was handed to Ben Diamond and Russell King in the Aston Martin. A thrilling race saw a British victory.

Round 2, INDONESIA, Sentul

A McLaren whitewash in terms of speed, as Bueno and Ricciardo topped the time sheets in qualifying and the race. But when a transmission failure put their car out of the race, it was Linvoy Nonda and Rodrigo Rossi that drove their McLaren BMW F1 to victory.

Round 3,
CZECH REPUBLIC, Most

McLaren are still the team to beat in terms of speed, but reliability is still a hindrance. Bueno and Ricciardo grabbed pole position and fastest lap, but when they retired it left Alajajian and Korsos at the front.

Then with just 3 laps to go, Kalman Korsos lost control and ran off the circuit. His ORECA Viper rejoined in third, handing victory to the sister car of Pennant and Hardy.

Round 4,
GERMANY, Lausitzring

McLaren looked like the dominant force as the field moved to the Lausitzring in Germany, as both cars took the front row and dueled for the lead over the first 30 laps.

Nonda and Rossi's car took pole position and eventually fastest lap, but the entire McLaren team were completely outwitted by the forward thinking strategy of ORECA Viper. Their plan worked beautifully, and placed Alajajian and Korsos out in front on lap 38.

Once in the lead, neither McLaren could overhaul the Hungarian Kalman Korsos, who drove valliantly to his and Graham Alajajian's first victory, making them the fourth different winners from the first four races.

Bueno and Ricciardo are beginning to show real signs of despair having dominated the blue riband events at Sebring and Daytona, and now being unable to win a championship event.

Round 5
FRANCE, Dijon-Prenois

A pole position, fastest lap and race victory weekend was looking pretty certian for McLaren pair Alexandrue Bueno and Roldan Ricciardo, but once again fate dealt them a cruel blow.

It handed the race win to their team-mates Linvoy Nonda and Rodrigo Rossi, who at this rate are looking likely to snatch the GT title from their faster colleagues.
