Round 4,
GERMANY, Lausitzring
McLaren looked like the dominant force as the field moved to the Lausitzring in Germany, as both cars took the front row and dueled for the lead over the first 30 laps.
Nonda and Rossi's car took pole position and eventually fastest lap, but the entire McLaren team were completely outwitted by the forward thinking strategy of ORECA Viper. Their plan worked beautifully, and placed Alajajian and Korsos out in front on lap 38.
Once in the lead, neither McLaren could overhaul the Hungarian Kalman Korsos, who drove valliantly to his and Graham Alajajian's first victory, making them the fourth different winners from the first four races.
Bueno and Ricciardo are beginning to show real signs of despair having dominated the blue riband events at Sebring and Daytona, and now being unable to win a championship event.
