DAYTONA 24 HOURS

On Feb 20-21, the WRL will run the Daytona 24 Hours. It's the second race in the LMWS calendar, but anyone can enter with a open or closed prototype or a GT car.

You MUST run three drivers minimum per car, although you can have four if you so wish. Each team runs two cars, and anyone can enter, even those who haven't created a team in the LMWS.

You have one month to prepare for this event. Everyone who is entering the LMWS will be given an immediate entry, but will have to submit a third driver to each car in order to enter.

Closing date for entry to this race is February 14th 2010.

FK Racing Systems - Acura

FK Racing Systems will enter two Acura powered LMP coupes in this prestigious race. It will come to the track with all it's drivers from the FK GPWC teams, who join the two regular LMWS drivers. Although the team won the 24h of Le Mans in 2009, this will be a new and different challenge, especially because the classes in the LMP have seen the arrival of strong teams and big manufacturers. But the FK Racing Systems car has of course undergone some developements, which should increase the performance.

The cars for the Daytona 24 Hours have been shipped out today and with these cars and this event, we will see the first appareance of the car that shall give our team success in the Le Mans World Series.
