Rounds 3 & 4, GERMANY, Hockenheim

Narain Fassaleiron and Teemu Mottonen were the stars of the show in Germany, swapping fastest times in both races.

Fassaleiron grabbed pole and fastest lap in race 1, whilst victory went to Mottonen. Then Mottonen set pole and fastest lap in race 2, while Fassaleiron took the win.

We are very disappointed about Eisslers and Dugas' results. Now, the team is searching the problem, but they assume that the Russian Lada-engines are underpowered.

ROUNDS 5 & 6
PORTUGAL, Estoril

The fight was renewed between Teemu Mottonen and Narain Fassaleiron in race 1, as pole man Mottonen took the chequered flag with Fassaleiron just behind setting fastest lap.

Neither of them expected the total domination in race 2 by another driver in another team. Particolare's British ace Ewen Graham took pole position, fastest lap and race victory to throw his hat into the championship title race.

With Eisslers 16th place, we must happy. The goal is now to beat Team Viper and to reach 11th place in the constructors championship.

Round 7 & 8
SPAIN, Barcelona

In front of the F1 teams, it was important for everyone to impress. But only one team took victory at the Circuito de Catalunya: Particolare.

It was an amazing display of dominance as Ewen Graham blitzed race 1, and then Susanne Maibert drove beautifully for her first win of the season.

Race 1 was the first WRL race in history to have every competitor making the finish.

Graham also set two pole positions, and two fastest laps.

Rounds 9 & 10
TURKEY, Istanbul

Two men totally obliterated the field and left the others to scrap for the lower positions. Each driver took pole position, fastest lap and race victory in each race.

Race 1 belonged to Narain Fassaleiron, and race 2 was owned by Teemu Mottonen. Fassaleiron retired in race 2, so SME Brawn have the upper hand.

Force India F3 will be renamed Kingfisher Racing, as Force India ends it's alliance with the squad.

SME has also asked McQueen to finish the year's contract with Jordan F3 as a favour to SME, so that neither the Brawn or SME Junior projects will be cancelled in 2010. Next year, there will be a full review of the projects.

Rounds 11 & 12,
MONACO, Monte Carlo

With Formula 3 returning to Monaco for the first time since 1999, nobody really knew what to expect from the new generation. What stood out was Teemu Mottonen throwing away pole position for race 1, and handing the lead and the race to Susanne Maibert, the first woman ever to win a race at Monaco. She also set fastest lap in the process.

To make matters worse, Mottonen did it again and gave the lead away to Ewen Graham. All the Finn could do was hassle Graham into a mistake, which eventually came on lap 7 having just set fastest lap. Graham lost it at Mirabeau, and ploughed into the wall sideways. Mottonen therefore grabbed a lucky win, but the manner in which he crumbled under pressure at both starts are not a great advert for his future career.
